What is your style of photography? We use a combination of Photojournalism and Traditional photography. Most brides prefer this style, since it captures the moment in candid shots, yet includes many traditional poses as well.
Your philosophy towards weddings? A wedding photographer should not only be able to capture memories of the days events, but also be able to put the wedding party at ease in order to insure all photos are the best they can be. This will be THE most important day of the bride and groom's lives. We will record that in our photos.
What price range and services do you provide? Please click the "Contact" button above and we will send a price list via email. Our specialty is photographing weddings. During the course of the event we will take anywhere between 300 to 600 photos. At the reception we will show photos as they are taken (trust me, the crowd will absolutely LOVE this). Using a BenQ PB6110 projector, powered by an Acer 3002LCi notebook, and projected onto a Da-Lite 70"x70" screen. We will also provide a professional style Wedding Album at VERY reasonable prices! We feel we have the very BEST value in the Rochester area for wedding photography.
Do you shoot with an assistant? Yes, my wife Cindy will assist with photography and she will run the projector at the reception, as well as help organize group shots. She usually makes me do all the HARD work, like pluging in the projector :)
Will you be the one shooting the wedding? Yes, We do not subcontract work. We like to be in control of the quality as much as possible, however in an emergency or illness, outside help may be an option, but that has never been a problem.
What type of camera equipment do you use? We shoot with the latest Canon EOS SLR cameras and lenses. The resulting images can be easily blown up as large as 4x6" - 24x30" or more. We also have backup equipment to ensure your wedding will be photographed in the unlikely event of equipment failure. If you would like a more detailed list of equipment, just request it by using the "Contact" button above.
Do you shoot in color and black & white? Yes, Our cameras can switch from B&W to full color very easily. We also use the latest photoshop techniques to add special effects for some of the shots such as Sepia, Infrared, Collages, Panoramas and colorized B&W.
After the wedding, how long before we see our photos? After all images are edited, they are uploaded to a website. This enables friends and family to view the images also. This is the modern “proof album”. You no longer have to invite people over to show your proof album. They can view your wedding images online, on their own time. This is also a great feature for a family member or friend that couldn't make it out for the wedding. They can do the next best thing and see your wedding images online. The bride and groom choose 80-150 of these images for their online slideshow and wedding album. Images will be online two weeks after the wedding. (Often times sooner).
